This clinic is designed for strong intermediate to advanced riders wanting to gain more confidence and control hitting jumps and drops. We’ll introduce all the necessary techniques to safely start hitting bigger features, and we’ll dial in our skills on our new portable wooden ramps in the parking area, before taking it to the trails and sessioning the many jumps and drops on the lower trails of Boulder Mountain.

What we cover:

  • Front Wheel Lifts & Bunny Hops - Essential skills for jumps and drops
  • Downhill Body Position - Dialling in a strong and centred position through all types of terrain
  • Body Position & Pressure Control for Jumps & Drops - Analyse and practise the key techniques of hitting jumps and drops
  • Speed vs. Pop - Learn to judge the necessary speed for features of all sizes
  • Advanced Heavy Braking - Learn to control your speed safely when landing
  • Feature Anatomy - Learn how to approach all types of features from tabletops to gaps, and slow rolling drops to high speed senders
  • Risk vs. Reward - Learn how to analyse the risks associated with bigger features



*Shuttles are not included. We will be utilising the new Boulder Climb Trail to access the lower trails and feature areas.

*Maximum 6:1 student/instructor ratio.

*Please bring your own lunch.
*Please bring a water bottle/hydration pack, clothing appropriate for the weather, spare tube, and any tools that you normally carry.
*Modern all-mountain/enduro bike required.
*Skill Level 3-4 / Fitness Level 3+
